The Advanced Technology and Educational Park (ATEP) is a 70 acre innovative college that integrates academic instruction with corporate business partners together on one campus. Student and professional collaboration are the impetus behind the master plan that promotes an environment where new technologies can be researched and developed collaboratively. Demonstration gardens and environmental sculptures will showcase new technologies that cleanse pollution and generate energy from sustainable sources.
Inspired by circuit board layout and design, the open space framework provides a fluid and continuous network of pedestrian and site program connectivity. From large plazas and amphitheaters that stage seasonal events to smaller gardens that function as outdoor laboratory space, the ATEP landscape is intended to be a productive space that promotes education in advanced environmental technologies and technical career workforce training.
