6007 Sunset will provide 109 units of affordable and market rate housing less than half a mile from Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. The building features sidewalk cafe dining and retail along Sunset Boulevard along with two large open space courtyards on the fourth level.
With heavy shade in the interior atrium courtyard, a selection of low water use plants with lush foliage in curvilinear planters form a sculptural counterpoint to the orthogonal building design. Several areas are carved into the planters creating intimate seating for residents. Along the northern edge of the property is the pool and amenity deck that offers a variety of social gathering areas including outdoor kitchens, game tables, fire pits, two dog runs, a pool and tanning deck. The landscape design has incorporated these multiple programs into a cohesive area that is inviting and encourages residents to socialize.
